Streamlining the process of requesting specific fruits and vegetables for gardeners to grow
and bring into local food pantries as a part of a team for the Peoria Fresh project.
Dreams Awakening - UX Design - Aug. 2023 - Present
Building the UI for a hypothetical experience that would allow users to log their dreams and
then reexperience their dreams in mixed reality using AI technology.
Hooked on Fishing - UX Design - Jan. 2023 - May 2023
Collaborated with a team that restructured the website design for Hooked on Fishing park in
order to better promote their services and boost engagement.
CAT UX Challenge - UX Design - Aug. 2022 - Nov. 2022
Competed against other teams to redesign the website for Caterpillar’s internal work order
tracking system in Figma in order for it to be less cumbersome.
Game CollectionARy - UX Design - Aug. 2022 - Oct. 2022
Designed the UI for a hypothetical phone app that would let users create a virtual collection
by scanning their physical games by going through the process of user research and design.
Theia - UX Design - Oct. 2021 - Apr. 2022
Developed the UI for the project Theia which allows users to create alien plants using
augmented reality, which was showcased at Bradley University’s interactive media exhibition.

About Me
Hello all! I am Joe Weaver, a senior User Experience Design major at Bradley University with a minor in Ethics.
My time at college has fueled me with a desire to create aesthetically pleasing and well structured designs for apps, websites, and much more. I am proficient in a variety of design tools such as Figma and Adobe Suite. I also have experience in working on teams and with human-centered design, so I certainly know how to work with and for the people.
Outside of my love for UX Design, I am an avid enjoyer of video games, mostly Nintendo. To me, there is nothing better than having fun playing games and listening to a video essay after a long day of work.
